Accelerator Personal Project Manager
Lucia Fanjul has worked with nonprofit organizations for more than 20 years. Currently based in New York City, she first moved there to help develop and coordinate a grassroots campaign focused on organizing and training people with HIV/AIDS to advocate for their own health and social programs at the city, state, and federal level. She went on to work with the homeless, people with mental health issues, and low-income working adults, mostly from the arts community.
Lucia has held management positions with various organizations, including the titles of program director and chief of staff, and her experience includes managing the development and implementation of strategic plans, HR standards, values and philosophy-of-care statements, and the implementation of best practices.
A mother of two, Lucia is currently completing her Master of Social Work at Fordham University.
