Accelerator Fellow (2014)
Using a wide variety of media, Jill Parisi creates paintings, drawings, sculptures, and installations that celebrate the plant and animal kingdom’s wide palette and intricate patterns. Her jazz-like riffs on nature reconfigure flora and fauna into imaginary ecosystems. In addition to exhibiting her work in galleries and museums, Jill has also received public art commissions, including a large piece that she created for a subway station in New York City’s Rockaway Beach.
