Accelerator Fellow (2015-2016)
Felicia van Bork constructs collages out of fragments of her monotype prints. Her process begins in the printmaking studio, where she experiments with novel combinations of colors, patterns, and textures, before moving on to another studio where the collages come together out of “deliberate destructiveness,” the tearing apart of the monotypes. While abstract, her imagery is landscape-based, and tied to the idea that impermanence is the only reality. Check out Felicia’s Artwork Archive page!
