Santa Fe Indian Market and the Clark Hulings Fund for Visual Artists (CHF) are pleased to announce a significant collaboration aimed at providing opportunities for Native artists to showcase and sell artwork amid the Coronavirus pandemic.

This three-day event will feature high-level presentations and interactive sessions designed to educate and support artists in becoming self-sustaining entrepreneurs.
TAE brings together the art world’s various players to engage in constructive dialogue, structured brainstorms, and honest debates about the future of the visual art industry, locally, regionally, and nationally.
“This year’s group of applicants was very diverse, in terms of medium, style, genre, stage of career, business model, interests, background, and location. It was a really broad, fascinating group, which made for a competitive and exciting selection process,” said Elizabeth Hulings, CHF’s director.
Scheduled for March 23 and 24, 2019, the two-day conference is co-sponsored by Artists & Makers Studios, an art center complex dedicated to providing a supportive and vibrant environment for artists to realize their creative goals.
Clark Hulings Fund Executive Director Elizabeth Hulings’ talk, entitled “Think Big! It’s Your Career,” takes place at 2:30 pm and CHF Events Director Carolyn Edlund will speak on how artists can “Rock Your Portfolio” at 3:40 pm.
Topics will include building an action plan, creating a brand story, rocking their portfolio, multiplying revenue streams, pricing for profit, selling art online effectively, building a strong support team, squashing resistance, sales strategies, and much more.
An unprecedented collaboration, which includes both artists’ signatures, is quintessential Goodacre interpreting Hulings at the height of his powers.
