Susan Goldstein, Founding President, Kentucky Craft History and Education Association (KCHEA), is an artist, curator, and art collector who graduated from the University of Vermont with a B.A. in Elementary Education and earned an M.A. in Counseling Psychology and Education from Tufts University. An innovative clay artist, her work has been included in many national and regional exhibitions, including the Governor’s Mansion in Frankfort, Kentucky and the Congressional Office Building in Washington DC. She has numerous past and present board affiliations including the Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft, Louisville, Kentucky, the Lexington Art League, Lexington, KY, Lexington-Fayette County Government, and the Kentucky Guild of Artists and Craftsmen, where she served as president. In 2009, nominated by the Lexington Arts Council, she received the National Philanthropy Day Award.

In 2020 Susan became a full time resident of Santa Fe, NM and currently is a regional coordinator for CHF, a board member of the International Folk Art Museum (Friends of Folk Art), and a member of the Santa Fe Arts Commission’s Artist Relief Fund, a committee created in response to COVID-19. She is also a generous supporter of many nonprofits that provide visual and performing arts to the community.
