Kristin Levier – Interaction of Colour

The Ann Street Gallery is now hosting Interaction of Colour, on exhibit until October 14th, 2017. CHF Fellow Kristin Levier has two pieces in the show, including April Spoon, pictured here.

Kristin was a biologist prior to starting her career as a sculptor. “I find great beauty in non-traditional subject matter and inspiration in a broad range of sources,” Kristin explains. “A blade of grass or the movement of a bacterium can be achingly beautiful, and I try to fill my work with the wonder they instill in me.”

The group exhibit, featuring work from 15 artists, includes drawings, paintings, sculptures, and installation pieces. These works are united by their vibrancy and use of color. Read more about artist selection for this exhibit here.
